Creative Supervision

Anne has trained as a Supervisor with the Dublin Gestalt Therapy Centre.  Anne also integrates Art into her Supervision Work.  Art introduces a new way to view the supervision process, it involves the use of images, words, symbols and metaphors.   It engages us at an emotional and cognitive level as well as giving us the opportunity to bring the body and aesthetic function into play.  The use of Art can involve voice and movement exploration.  The use of Art in Supervision marries well with the Gestalt Approach to Supervision; using phenomenological inquiry it explores the relationship, what we experience in the field of the Supervisor, Supervisee and the client work. We look at holding, containment of the work with exploration of parallel processes and what may get co-created in either or both the Client Therapist relationship or the Supervisee and Supervisor Relationship.

Group Supervision

Anne offers Group Supervision in either of the Centres she works from. Group Supervision is an opportunity to have the support of colleagues and to enhance the Supervision experience by having the opportunity to explore and discuss any issues that are arising in your work. There are many advantages to Group Supervision, a shared learning experience, a wider range of professional experiences, reflections, group feedback and peer support
