“Mindfulness is about cultivating awareness of the mind and body and living in the here and now.”
Bob Stahl & Elisha Goldstein
Mindfulness is about becoming consciously aware of how we live our daily lives, understanding our stress responses and how we can support ourselves better. Mindfulness can be practiced in two ways by formal and informal practice. Formal practice is about intentionally taking time to do some mediations, while informal practice is a way of introducing mindfulness into your everyday living such as eating, walking, exercise and relating to others.
